First Chinese Master of Wine and Greek wine aficionado Gus Zhu led a master class during a (made in Greece) “Wine, Beverage & Spirits” gala dinner event at Hellas House, sponsored by Enterprise Greece.
Hellas Group’s hugely popular pavilion made its 4th annual China International Import Expo. Lending their enthusiastic support during the opening day launch were Greek Consul General in Shanghai Vasileios Koniakos and and top members of his diplomatic staff.
On November 2nd, a ForbesHousewarming Ceremony was successfully held. In attendance were Hellas Group founder and CEO Pavlos Kontomichalos, President Sophia Kontomichalos, and numerous entrepreneurs and business leaders.
As a strategic partner of Forbes, Mr. Kontomichalos also took the stage to say that in order to lead in the modern world, it is necessary to learn from the wisdom of the ancients, which will be the the the guiding theme of “Ancient Wisdom, Modern Compass”, an ongoing series of co-branded activities aimed at expanding China-Greece-Europe cooperation ties in the areas of entrepreneurship and innovation, healthcare, experiential tourism and hospitality, education and learning, the environment, personal care, the arts, and healthy living.
Following the remarks ofForbes China’s President, Mr. Kontomichalos, and others, a lucky draw was held. Hellas Group’s Mr. Kontomichalos was delighted to present the 1st-prize winner with the very special prize: three nights at Hellas Group’s exclusive Erosantorini luxury villa on Santorini, worth 38,000 yuan! Runners up came away far from empty-handed, with Hellas Group-redeemable coupons and a Greek gift box containing honey, olive oil and wine!

On September 30, in Athens, Hellas Group President Sophia convened the first post-epidemic meeting of the group’s top Greece-based leadership at the Hellas Group’s Athens headquarters.
On the agenda were new and ongoing development initiatives, achievements, and Hellas Group’s China branch’s Q3/Q4 results and plans. Attendees at the upbeat meeting included MyOdyssey CEO Fokion, Senior Greece Tourism Designer Anthony, and representatives of Elaion, who expressed their gratitude for Sophia’s inspirational talk.
Following the meeting, the group’s leaders and their teams enjoyed lunch at the NEW Hotel, enthusiastically united and in high spirits in anticipation of a wonderfully successful 2022!

A strategic cooperation agreement between Dainippon Sumitomo Pharma and Profex was recently signed at Hellas House. Attending the signing ceremony and private dinner were the CEO of Profex, Philip Xiao, CEO of SPC and the co-founder and Chairman of Profex, and Pavlos Kontomichalos, the founder & CEO of Hellas Group.
In Greece, Hellas Group President Sophia Kontomichalos toured Hellas Group companies Tselepos, Elaion, and Korres.
During her visit and tour of the Tselepos winery, Sophia met with the founder, a Thessaloniki Agricultural University professor, and Tselepos’ operations team, dedicated to guaranteeing the absolute highest standards of Tselepos’ premium Greek wines.
She then visited one of the sub-factories of Elaion, which produces premium Greek extra virgin oil.
Next, on her whirlwind tour of Hellas Group companies, Sophia visited Korres, Greece’s leading all-natural cosmetics and skincare brand. She observed how the all-natural raw materials are extracted, and met with the company’s production management team, as the company’s newest yogurt-based sunscreen and after-sun skincare products enter the market.
Hellas House was pleased to recently team up with Xiersen, for a “Special Slices” fundraiser to draw attention to the need to better integrate into society people with special needs.
The event marked the release of the newest episode of Xiersen’s ongoing “Special Slices” comic series, drawn by leading Chinese manga artist Zhiguo Qu (Revolver 转轮手枪), and inspired by real people who, like Chinese Special Olympics gold medalist Li Xiang and phenomenally talented autistic painter He Gu – who both participated in the event – have emphatically demonstrated their ability to excel.
Hellas House had the great honor of welcoming Lang Guoren – father of famous pianist Lang Lang – renowned thangka painter Niangben, and leading entrepreneur Chen Guangbiao and their friends, for a special evening of cultural and artistic exchanges, followed by a special private Greek dinner in Hellas House’s Minoan Room.
